Nature and Dharma Daylong Logistics and Ride Info

Here is the updated information for the April 16th Nature and Dharma Daylong Retreat:

We will meet in the parking lot at the Rock Spring Trailhead on Mt. Tamalpais (directions are at the end of this post). (Since the road is twisty and slow, it’s good to allow about 50 minutes to get there from the East Bay). Since we’ll all need to leave the trailhead together, please try to arrive around 9:45am so that we can begin our walk at 10am. I’ll keep my cell phone on during the morning (510-847-3636) but I imagine that the signal will be spotty to absent up there. We’ll be back down to the trailhead at the end of the day by 5pm.

As far as ride sharing goes, I still have room for 1 or 2 people in my car, coming from the East Bay. If you’d like a ride or can offer one, a good way to communicate this would be to click the “Comments” link and leave your message and phone number.

The weather is forecast to be partly cloudy with highs in the mid- to upper-60’s, but it will likely be cool in the morning and in the shade, so please bring appropriate layered clothing. We’ll plan on going rain or shine, but in the unlikely event of a huge rainstorm forcing cancellation, I’ll post a notice via email and the website.

That’s about all for now, but please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

I look forward to seeing you on the 16th!

peace,
Matt

PS I was tromping around up there last weekend and it was quite lovely (a few photos are posted here).
